CITY OF ARLINGTON Addendum Determination of Non-Significance City of Arlington FILE NAME: 2015 Comprehensive Wastewater Plan, 2017 Amendment FILE NUMBER: PLN#166 ADDENDUM: The City of Arlington 2015 Comprehensive Wastewater Plan serves, by adoption, as a critical element to the City of Arlington's GMA Comprehensive Plan. Changes to planned City expansion and redistribution of population, as documented in the City of Arlington's GMA Comprehensive Plan as amended in 2017, has required this 2015 Comprehensive Wastewater Plan, 2017 Amendment to assure compliance with state and federal regulations and laws, to assure adequate wastewater infrastructure, to assure a high level of service to existing customers, and to facilitate the growth of new customers. ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: Planned update of the City's Comprehensive Wastewater Plan. Noteworthy changes in this update include identification of six focus areas to accommodate residential growth and commercial/industrial expansion, including expansion of the City's UGA and Wastewater Service Area west ofl-5 (dependent on Snohomish County Council approval of its 2016 docket). Capital projects are identified for 10 and 20 year horizons. PROPONENT: City of Arlington Public Works Department LOCATION OF PROPOSAL: The City's Comprehensive Wastewater Plan, 2017 Amendment, applies to the City's wastewater service area, which occupies the Arlington city limits, unless service is arranged by special agreement as allowed by RCW 35.67.310 . LEAD AGENCY: City of Arlington Department of Community and Economic Development DETERMINATION: The lead agency for this proposal has determined that the addendum does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2) (c). This determination assumes compliance with State law and City of Arlington ordinances related to general environmental protection. This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public upon request. There is no comment period or agency appeal associated with this addendum.
