NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL DECISION CITY OF LYNNWOOD - PARK IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE (File No. ERC-005941-2017) Application and Project Description On December 20, 2017, Sarah Olson (Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts, City of Lynnwood) submitted an environmental review application for the implementation of a new ordinance authorizing a park impact fee program to establish fees to be assessed on residential and commercial development to support the acquisition and development of new parkland and trails needed for anticipated growth. Specific information regarding the fee ordinance is available by contacting Sarah Olson, Deputy Director, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department, 425-670-5503, Location: Citywide SEPA Environmental Review: The City has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) for this project. The optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project. The proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. Agencies, tribes, and the public are encouraged to review and comment on the proposed project and its probable environmental impacts. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination for the proposal may be obtained upon request.
