NOTICE OF LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITY AND SEPA THRESHOLD DETERMINATION


(Pursuant to the provisions of Chapters 30.70.050(2) and 30.61 SCC)


 


Project Name:Maple RoadandAsh WayIntersection and Drainage Improvements


Project Number: RR48820


Project Description:SnohomishCountyand the City ofLynnwoodpropose to raise the elevation of the Maple


Road/Ash Wayintersection to reduce flooding. The intersection would be raised from 0 feet to approximately 5


feet above the current elevation. In addition to raising the road, it is also necessary to increase the capacity of


the drainage system. The project will realign short sections of Tunnel Creek and Maple 525 Creek and direct


the water to Dogwood Creek. This will require constructing new swales, two new culverts and an 850-foot


section of new stream channel.


Project Location: The project is located in southwestSnohomish County,WAin Sections 10, 11, and 14,


Township 27 N, and Range 4 E.


Type of Project: Road and drainage improvement project


Permits/Approvals Required: Land Disturbing Activity Permit


SEPA Decision: June 30, 2016


Project Comment Period: Comment period ends August 8, 2016
