Project Name:240th StreetRailroad Crossing Improvements

Project Number: RC 1593

Project Description:SnohomishCountyPublic Works proposes to improve the railroad crossing at 240th

Street SE by regrading the roadway eastwards fromSnohomish-Woodinville Roadto the crossing. The

improvements would include constructing a reinforced crossing, connecting sidewalks on the north side of

the road, and improving associatedADAfacilities crossings to current standards. The project would disturb

approximately 1,600 square feet, and would add approximately 1,600 square feet of new imperious surface.

Two weekend road closures are anticipated during construction and alternate routes identified.

Project Location: Railroad crossing east of the240th Street SEandSnohomish-Woodinville Road

intersection in unincorporatedSnohomishCounty; Section 34, Township 27 North, Range 5 East.
