NOTICE OF LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITY


Pursuant to SCC 30.70.050(2), this notice is being issued for the


Land Disturbing Activity required as part of this project


 


 


Project Name: Stormwater Facility Retrofit (Oak Manor)


Project Number: RR48876


Project Description:SnohomishCountyPublic Works, Surface Water Management Division, proposes to


replace a failing stormwater detention pipe located under the east side of34th Pl. W., near156th St. SW.A


larger detention pipe will be installed to reduce high flows downstream and improve water quality.


The work will include excavation of the east side of the roadway and sidewalk to remove the existing pipe


and install new stormwater and drainage pipes. The new pipes will connect to the existing stormwater system


under 156th St. SW.After installing the pipes, the work area will be repaved and new curb, gutter, and sidewalk


installed along the east side of the road. New curb ramps will also be installed at the intersection.


Construction is planned for Summer 2017. This project will occur at the intersection of156th St. SWand 34th


Pl. W.
