Pursuant to SCC 30.70.050(2), this notice is being issued for the land disturbing activity


 


required as part of this project

Project Name: Stormwater Facility Retrofit


 


Project Number: RR48856


 


Project Description:SnohomishCountyPublic Works, Surface Water Management Division, proposes to


modify the existing stormwater pond at the intersection ofMeridian Drive SEand109th Place SE. The proposal


is to enlarge the pond to provide additional stormwater storage capacity and improve water quality. The project


will reduce stormwater effects to the tributary of North Creek. Additional work consists of constructing concrete


retaining walls, a rockery, a maintenance access ramp, and installing new stormwater pipes. A 6-foot high


fence will be installed around the perimeter of the pond with a locked gated access. A new sidewalk and


landscaped buffer will be constructed between the roadway and fenced pond. This project is planned to be


constructed in 2018.
